Overview
The KR1253 series connectors are designed for flat panel displays with extra thin connectors. It has a very thin body, a KONNRA designed crimp latch and a special construction that prevents the user from inserting the connector backwards. Its minimum height is only 1.90 mm. The connectors are designed for flat panel LCDs such as entertainment displays, consumer electronics, personal computers and mobile devices that can be as small as 10 centimeters or less.
This series of connectors has robust functional features such as SMT headers and SMT solder tails designed to provide strong PCB retention. The shell portion includes friction locks for secure mating and shell hooks for secure terminal retention, ensuring a stable and reliable connection. Like the 1.25 mm pitch connector, it is suitable for dense electronic equipment because of its small wire diameter and lightweight design. For U.S. Wire Gauge (AWG) #26- #32, each contact can provide up to 1.0 A current rating.
Advantages
- Ultra-thin design
Known for its ultra-thin 1.90mm design, which makes it ideal for the space-optimizing needs of modern electronics, especially in extra-thin connector applications such as flat panel displays.
- High Reliability
Its unique friction lock and shell hook design provides a strong retention force, ensuring a stable and reliable connection. In addition, the blade-type pin design reduces the risk of damage during the mating process.
- Superior Electrical Performance
The use of phosphor bronze contact material with gold plating ensures good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. This design allows the connector to maintain stable electrical performance in a variety of environments, reducing connection problems caused by environmental factors.
- Anti-flux penetration design
The fully shielded flux penetration resistant design effectively protects the contacts from damage during soldering and cleaning. This reduces the risk of degradation of connection performance due to contamination during the soldering process.
- Easy to install and maintain
The use of SMT (surface mount technology) connectors and solder tails makes the installation process easier and faster. It has also been designed with ease of maintenance in mind, making it easy to replace or repair when needed.
- Wide applicability
A wide range of sizes and models are available to meet the needs of different electronic devices and systems. Whether in home appliances, communication equipment, or other electronic devices, you can find a suitable KR1253 series connector.
- High durability
The KR1253 series connectors have a long service life and high durability due to the use of high quality materials and manufacturing processes. Stable connection performance and reliability are maintained even when used in harsh environments.
